The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) officially announced on May 14th that the suspension of reciprocal tariffs on China has been extended until August 12, 2025.


If China and the United States fail to reach a new trade agreement before August 12th, the original 10% tariff rate will be increased by an additional 24%, and the total tariff rate will rise to 34%.
